Kiteboarding is young, new and extreme just like us.
Look at our logo:
it embraces the sky, the wind and the water.
It’s you, it’s me, it’s Kiteboarding.
It’s fun and it’s (a)life.
It’s larger than life!

We are a young team, a new brand and
we have an extreme passion for kiteboarding.
We are women who do stuff on water.
We understand what it takes to enjoy
an active, wet lifestyle.

Let’s face it: just about anything in the sports world
that is made for “Chicks” is crap. The materials are
poor quality, the construction is inferior and the
design is basically a small man’s version.

You know, boardshorts that gap in the waist but crush your butt,
then fall apart or fade the first time you wash them. Or the tiny
little sexy version you don’t even get over your hips…

We play hard. We need designs that fit, materials that work
and construction that stands up to the punishment it’s going to get.
That’s what we bring you: well-designed, quality women’s
kiteboarding gear, delivered to you
through our world-wide distribution
Network and online shops.

Kite Chicks and their Background

Kite Chicks is a Brand of ChicKitEaux (Chick-eat-oh) Ltd. and
was founded by Petra Schaefer in May 03.

Petra was born in the snow fields of the German Alps, started skiing
at the age of 3 and racing at 5. Her coaches told her she should turn pro,
but she had different ideas. After having spent most of her youth ski training
year round, she stopped competing when she was 17.
A cellar full of trophies from national and international
competitions was enough, and she was hungry to discover
something new and different.

She sold her skis and bought a snowboard, realizing very quickly
that the sport and the lifestyle was what she was after.
She discovered Kiteboarding in 2001 and never looked back.

Before Petra started her own business, she was working for one
of the top three top kite brands in the world. She gained broad experience
living and working as a Kite Chick. She worked for the brand as
Management Assistant in Italy, Product Coordinator in Maui and
Commercial Manager in Hong Kong.

Inspired by the entrepreneurs in the Hong Kong
society and her love of the sport,
she decided to let her
visions become a mission
and her ideas become products.

Our goal is to cover the needs of the female
kite-boarding world, the Kite Chicks, by supplying
the gear you need on the water:
high-quality board shorts, bikinis, rash vests and tops, neoprene
combinations in feminine, sexy designs, different
from anything out there.

And, we bring you the gear you need to
look good off the water too: pants, shirts, tops,
sunglasses, necklaces and
other cool accessories that
fit with your lifestyle.
