The Location

Cabarete, located approximately 40 km east of Puerto Plata and 20 km east of the POP Airport, is a charismatic little beach town that attracts sports enthusiasts and sun worshippers from all over the world. Cabarete is considered by many to be one of the top places in the world to windsurf and kiteboard, but that's not all that can be done here. You can surf, mountain bike, horseback ride, go canyoning, and take part in so many other adventures, or just simply enjoy the fun in the sun to be found here.

The Hotel

The brand new 4-star hotel is located right in the heart of Cabarete's Kite Beach alongside the kitesurfing school Dare2fly, just 20 minutes East of the Puerto Plata airport. To the center of Cabarete town it is 5 minutes by "guagua" or "motorbike taxi" or if you like a 20 minutes beautiful beach walk.

The School

DARE2FLY is an IKO approved Kitesurfing School that teaches with IKO standards. Since December 2002, DARE2FLY has operated out of the newly built location right in the heart of Kitebeach - world-wide one of the best places for year round kiting. Here you will find our own little restaurant, CKC - Cabarete's first and only specialized kiteboarding shop, air compressor, rescueboat for your safety, showers and toilets, parking lot a massage therapy center and of course wireless free high speed internet access.
